We have been happily married for 6 years. Our relationship is built on a foundation of love, trust, respect and communication. As a couple we have laughed ourselves silly, cried on each others shoulders and lifted one another up. We can truly say that we are each others best friend. We are both college educated professionals and can provide all the love, support and opportunities that a child deserves.
Of everything in life, we value family above all. We both come from close-knit families, and cherish the love and support we have received all of our lives. The child who blesses our lives will also have waiting for them 2 great grandparents, 4 grandparents, 3 aunts and uncles and 2 wonderful cousins to love (and spoil) them. Our families each have vacation homes we love to spend time at year round. David’s family has a cottage in Canada on a serene lake and Carrie’s family has a home on a spring fed creek in West Texas.
We live in a lovely 2 bedroom loft apartment in an artistic part of Brooklyn with home theater and, of course, a Wii. Our building is full of kids of all ages. Our home is nestled on a quiet, tree lined street just steps from a beautiful park with huge trees great for picnics, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and dog runs. We are also 45 minutes from several beaches, and a short train ride from all that New York City has to offer. Our neighborhood spirit is celebrated with the New York Marathon as well as several community fairs and festivals through out the year.
